Mario Almonte and Theresa Manning

Mario is a public relations specialist and blogger for the Huffington Post who recently self published a literary novel entitled, Theresa Manning. While he's made his career writing on politics, technology and social issues, he was drawn to write this "literary" novel because he got tired of the amount of "pop" fiction being written - fantasy, crime, thriller, horror, etc. He says it seems people want to write genre fiction because there's lots of money if you hit it big, and fewer writers care anymore about the "art" of writing - well-crafted writing that immerses the reader in the beauty of the language. His book is available at http://www.amazon.com/Theresa-Manning-ebook/dp/B006QC11HW

  1. Thanks for the great interview, John. You're a true pro.

  2. Much obliged but without great guests like yourself there can be no opportunity for great hosting, Mario.
